Monday 6th September to Thursday 9th September 2010
Oh boy! What a job! The site we had booked was not big enough as we had an extended ‘A’ frame (did we, thought they were all that size?), therefore we needed to have a 28 foot site not a 25 foot one. Also the type of hitch we had they had never seen before, so much head scratching ensued and the arrival of the boss man to take over. Sometime later, with a new bigger site and changes to the tractor tow bar, Sandy and I were parked! Thank goodness we had not tried to park it ourselves, we would have made a right mess of it, now however we were able to sit back and watch everyone else arrive.
The next couple of days were a shopping extravaganza, BBQ, food, cleaning products, containers, non slip mats, buckets, etc; a two page list was constructed to help the aging memory and numerous trips to several shops followed.
